Flamenco queen Aida Gomes to perform in Kazan

December 26, 27 and 28, performances of outstanding Spanish lady ballet dancer  Aida Gomes commence   on the stage of the M. Jalil  Tatar academic theatre of opera and ballet .

Accompanied by  artistes, headed by her National Spanish dance theatre,  Aida will perform  in Kazan a fiery flamenco-ballet  «Karmen» on musuc of J. Biset and Hose Rodriges. The show to begin at   18.00.

Before the performance and in between acts, a quarter  under conduct  of Zahar Steinberg will play for the spectators. In a  foye of the theatre,  at the  decorated New-Year tree, the guests of the evening will see theatrical ball presentation, performed by students of Kazan choreographic college (Vera Zakamskaya’s production ). Evening dresses are welcomed  

Aida Gomes began her career  as  classic ballet dancer. At the age of  7, she entered a ballet school where almost immediately gained the  fame of wunderkind and best pupil dancer. At 14.    Aida Gomes was accepted in  company of the Spanish national  ballet where she  began to perform leading parts. For ten years,  she was a prima lady ballet  dancer. “I have got  a classic education,  told Aida Gomes in one of the interviews,  classic ballet is a language of the dance without which it is impossible to “speak”». But flamenco, by my view, this is a soul of the dance, its ultimate exposure. Flamenco emancipates your internal feelings on the stage,  gives you strength».
