Tatarstan performances will be shown at the festival of the National Theater Award “Golden Mask”
This year, the competition program of the festival from the Republic of Tatarstan included two performances: the Alif Creative Union and the Inclusion (“Alluki”) Creative Projects Implementation Center, the Panther Chamber Ballet (Arena). In addition, productions of the Atninskiy Tatar State Drama Theater named after G. Tukai ”(“Frontovichka ”) and the Buinsky State Drama Theater (“ Fern ”) were selected for the program of out-of-competition projects“ Mask Plus ”.
In total, 81 theaters from 29 cities will take part in the festival; more than 250 shows of 101 performances will take place. The competitive program of the theater prize will last until April 14. The first performance to be shown to the viewer will be the musical “Hipsters” of the Theater of Nations directed by Alexei Frandetti. It will be presented on the main stage of the theater on January 25. The award ceremony will take place at the Zaryadye Concert Hall on April 15.

The Golden Mask was established in 1993 as a professional award for the best works of the season in all types of theatrical art (drama, opera, ballet, modern dance, operetta / musical, puppet theater). Prize winners are determined at the annual festival of nominee performances.
