The La Primavera orchestra went on an unusual concert tour in Tatarstan. In the near future, musicians will give 12 concerts in 14 boarding schools in Tatarstan for children with disabilities, the press service of the orchestra reports.

“Art is one of the directions of an inclusive approach in education. Children with physical disabilities who live in boarding schools cannot come to the concert hall, so we decided to come to them ourselves. Many children first heard the live sound of a string orchestra, ”said Rustem Abyazov, project manager and chief conductor of La Primavera Orchestra.

He emphasized that the project was made possible by a won grant from the Government of the Republic. It is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the TASSR. The concert program included compositions by Bokkerini, Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, Strauss, Khachaturian, Saydashev, Sirotin, Andersen and others. The guys are not just listening to music, they are actively involved in the concert program.

“We have extensive experience working with children's audiences. The children do not just listen to the whole concert, but answer the quiz questions, solve musical puzzles and even participate in the performance of some of the numbers. The guys are thrilled. And we are impressed  by the level of musical erudition of children, ”Abyazov shared his impressions of the first concerts.

The orchestra has already performed with concerts in Yelabug, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk. Performances are also planned in Almetyevsk, Chistopol, Kukmor and Arsk. The artist of the orchestra said that during the performances he met with gifted musicians and invited them to take part in listening to the creative program for the young musicians “Stars from Tomorrow”. It starts in Kazan on January 24 and will cover all the cities of Tatarstan.
