Music of Tatarstan composers sounds with success in Germany
Music of Tatarstan composers within the Year of Germany in Russia and the Year of Russia in Germany sounded in Leipzig and Berlin. The concerts were held under support of President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The organizers of concerts – RT Ministry of culture and RT Union of composers.
The music of Tatarstan already has been presented Berlin Stockholm Jerusalem, Alma-Ata. All this thanks to a scale project of symphonic concerts «Pearls of Tatar music». In 2012, the project «Pearls» opened concerts in Leipzig and Berlin.
On October 21, Tatar music for the first time sounded музыка in a «temple of world musical culture» in a concert hall of Leipzig «Gevandhaus» which history counts over 200 years.
The uniqueness of project «Pearls of Tatar music» is concluded in the fact that music performers of Tatarstan composers are leading abroad orchestras and this time it was Leipzig symphonic orchestra. The orchestra was conducted by the world known conductor, maestro Arkady Berin (Germany), having become a true friend and devotee of Tatarstan composer’ devotee.
The concert program included compositions of the famed composers of Tatarstan – «Ballad» from the first Tatar ballet «Shurale» by Farid Yarullin, «Rhapsody» by Renat Enikeev, omposition by Rashid Kalimullin «Symphonic frescoes» and Concert for fortepiano with orchestra, a soloist was the laureate of many international contests, including International contest after P.I. Tchaikovsky, Fyodor Amirov (Russia ).
The main event in this evening became the world premiere of Concert for two clarinets by Rashid Kalimullin. The concert was written under order of the first clarinetist of Zubin Meta Misha Gurfinkel for his sons Alexandr and Daniel (Israel) young but already recognized musicians, the laureates of numerous international contests the twin brothers Gurfinkels impressed by their talent and artistry признанные музыканты, лауреаты многочисленных международных конкурсов братья-близнецы Гурфинкели поразили своим талантом, артистизмом.
New direction on progressing project «Pearls of Tatar music» has become a chamber concert out of compositions of young Tatarstan composers which took place October 23 in a musical salon named after M.Glinka of the Russian House of science and culture in Berlin. Assistance in organization of concert was rendered by Rossotrudnichestvo, Society of promoting Eastern Europe, society «Tamga» and «Tatarlar Deutschland».
Compositions by Yulia Bekbulatova, Elmira Nizamova Elmira Galimova Yelena Anisimova, Natalia Varlamova Ildar Harisov sounded in the concert. They were performed by young Berlin musicians, German-Tatar audience received warmly each composition
Undoubtedly, the possibility for young composers to perform abroad is a stimulus сfor creativity new works. Besides, thanks to financing by RT Ministry of culture, the young composers personally could attend the concert and see sightseeing of Berlin.
Continuation of the project «Pearls of Tatar music» in current year will be the concerts in Florence (November 6) and Rome (November 17).
