Financing of national projects implemented in the regions of the Volga Federal District will amount to 275 billion rubles. This was stated by Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative Alexei Kuzmitsky following a meeting of the working group of the Council under President of the Russian Federation on strategic development and national projects. It was chaired by Assistant to President of the Russian Federation Andrei Belousov in Moscow.
“The planned amount of financing of national projects in the whole district for next year will be about 275 billion rubles. This is 10% more than in 2019. It is important to ensure the timely and effective use of these funds, ”said Alexei Kuzmitsky.
In addition, he clarified that this year a large part of the appropriations, about 132 billion rubles, was allocated for the implementation of social national projects: "Health", "Education", "Demography" and "Culture". Next year, the same trend will continue. Financing of national projects aimed at the development of the social sphere will amount to 144 billion rubles, ” deputy envoy noted.
He also explained that the total amount of funds for the implementation of national projects in the regions of the district for 2019-2024 will exceed 1.5 trillion rubles. “In this six-year period, each region should be maximally included in the work on the effective use of these funds. The year of implementation of national projects is coming to an end, and here it is important to take into account all the experience gained in order to use the most effective mechanisms for disbursing funds and achieving individual targets in the future. It is important that the result of the work of the regions is an increase in the quality of life of people. This is our priority, identified by President of the country, ”said Alexei Kuzmitsky.
According to deputy envoy, the implementation of national projects is under special control of the office of the plenipotentiary representative. In each region of the district, field meetings are held with the participation of the leadership of the subject, ministries, departments and control and oversight bodies. “This control practice will continue. Of course, we will use new mechanisms for monitoring and controlling the situation, taking into account the automation processes in this area, ”concluded Alexei Kuzmitsky.
