18-19 November Interregional TV festival “My big country” is to be held in Kazan organized under initiative of the Federal agency on press and mass communication.
The main task of the festival - to attract attention of the public and mass media to the subject of interaction of cultures and traditions of different peoples . Format of the festival is called to facilitate exchange of experience between mass media of various regions - in covering cultural achievements of different nations in forming mutual respect and consent between different peoples, living in one region, in one country.
The issue of multi-culturelism, presently, is very sharp and stands as corner stone of national politics of the majority of European countries. Especially this theme is actual for such multi-cultural, multi-language and filled with original traditions like Russia. One of the important ways of reaching positive trends in this directions may become a global understanding of its mission as federal so national mass media which must find professional balance in forming single values of Russian citizens

On how this is made , the participants of process will give accounts. So, within the festival a creative contest of TV works will take place. Summing up of the contest outcomes and awarding the winners will be held during official Ceremony in Kazan.
