Uzbekistan hosts Culture Days of Tatarstan

Tatarstan Culture Days will be held on September 18-19 in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The events are attended by Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Damir Natfullin.

Today, on September 18, a meeting will be held in Tashkent with Tatars living in Uzbekistan, after which a concert of masters of arts of Tatarstan will be held at the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Uzbekistan named after A. Navoi.

The compatriots will enjoy the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Tatarstan   as well as such famous performers as Elmira Kalimullina, Ruslan Sayfutdinov, Marcel Vagizov, Zarina Vildanova, Alina Sharipzhanova and others.

In Uzbekistan, within the framework of the Tatarstan Culture Days, the following will be opened: an exhibition of shamails of the Museum of Islamic Culture of the Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve; exhibition "Modern Tatarstan" of the Elabuga State Museum-Reserve; Exhibition of folk art crafts of Tatarstan.

In addition, at the end of September, a troupe of the Buinsky State Tatar Satire Theater will come to Uzbekistan with tours. Actors will show their best performances in the cities of Tashkent, Samarkand, Navoi and Jizzak. The performances will be in Tatar and Russian.

In Kazan, meanwhile, from October 2 to 6, the Days of Uzbek Cinema will be organized. Films can be watched at the Mir cinema.

We remind  that in September last year, Tatarstan hosted the Days of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
