Boris Berezovsky Festival "Summer Evenings in Elabuga"
From July 10 to 14, 2019 in Elabuga, with the support of President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the II International festival of the outstanding pianist Boris Berezovsky “Summer Evenings in Elabuga” will take place.
The festival will be held within the framework of classical concerts, world-famous groups and performers of classical music will take part in it. Among them are Boris Berezovsky himself, cellist Henri DeMarket (France), Alpine horn music performer Arkady Shilkloper (Germany), violinist Nikita Borisoglebsky (Moscow), goboist Alexei Balashov (Moscow), organist Rubin Abdullin (Kazan), bayanist Aydar Salahov (Moscow), ), Aigul Khismatullina (St. Petersburg), soloist of the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theater, cellist Andrei Kaminsky (Kazan), pianists Anna Denisova and Varvara Myagkova (Moscow), pianist Fyodor Orlov, Chris Stout and Katriona Mackay (violin and Celtic harp, Scotland), harp Tka Sofia Kalandadze (Moscow), Ulyanovsk State Academic Symphony Orchestra “Governor’s”, Chamber Orchestra of Igor Lerman (Naberezhnye Chelny), Sirin Old Russian Music Ensemble (Moscow), Ancient Music Ensemble “Madrigal” (Moscow), singers of the author’s song Sergey and Tatyana Nikitins (Moscow), actor and director Alexander Gordon (Moscow).
Performances for Elabuzhan and guests of the city will be held in the open air format at Shishkin ponds. Free admission.
Last year, the first B. Berezovsky festival in Elabuga in 4 days gathered more than 40 thousand visitors. Detailed festival program will be on site.
