Ceremony of awarding the laureates of Keepers of heritage prize is to take place in A.S. Pushkin museum reserve

On July 21, at the A.S. Pushkin museum - reserve Mikhailovskoye, an official ceremony of awarding the laureates of Keepers of heritage prize will take place.
Minister of culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medynsky takes part in an awarding ceremony.
The award is handed over 4 times for personal contribution in preserving historic-cultural heritage of Russia.
Within a framework of delivering Keepers of heritage award, a field session of the Commission of RF Public Chamber is to be held.
In 2012, for the first time, within a framework All-Russia award Keepers of heritage the exhibition is held «Museums reserves: symbols of returning Home» where the monuments of estate culture and museums-reserves, having become a symbol of historic-cultural heritage of Russia will be presented:

• Museum –estate «Arkhangelskoye» (Moscow oblast.)
• State memorial historic-literature and nature landscape museum named after A.S. Pushkin «Mikhailovskoye » (Pskov oblast )
• State memorial historic –art and nature museum-reserve after V.D. Polenov (Tulskaya oblast)
• State memorial and nature reserve «Museum –estate after L.N. Tollstoi «Yasnaya Polyana» (Tulskaya oblast )
• Elabuga state historic –architectural and art museum –reserve (Republic of Tatarstan )
• National park «Kenozersky» (Arkhangelsky oblast )
• Veliky Ustyg – monuments of civil and orthodox architecture
(Vologodskaya oblast)

During the Year of Russian history we address to the estate culture as a unique phenomena in history of the country, an actual theme of preserving historic lands and reserved territories. Holding this event in one of the most significant estates – «Mikhailovskoye» is symbolic. This year the museum - reserve turns 90 years. «Mikhailovskoye » is linked with the names of well-known enthusiasts uncompromised defenders of the Russian culture like S. Geichenko (whose 110th anniversary is marked in 2013), S. Yamschikov, whose days of memory the ceremony is devoted to.
