Tatarstan President hands the Gabdulla Tukai State Awards
Today, at the Kazan Expo exhibition complex, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed the Gabdulla Tukai State Awards to the laureates of 2019. Deserved awards have received three authors and one creative collective.
Before that, Rustam Minnikhanov solemnly opened a new concert hall named after Ilham Shakirov.
“I congratulate you on the Day of the native language and the birthday of Gabdulla Tukai. There was no such hall in our republic yet, and here we have made it. Evaluate for yourself how comfortable it is. Our airport was given the name of Gabdulla Tukai, and we gave the name of Ilgam Shakirov to a new concert hall, ”Rustam Minnikhanov said.
“Today we are handing the major state awards of Tatarstan. I heartily congratulate the winners, I hope that in the future such major works will also be created, ”said the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
This year, thirteen authors and three creative teams were nominated for awards. One of the winners was Nadir Almeyev for a series of graphic works: the cycle “Bells of Hiroshima”, illustrations for collections of Tatar poets, a series of landscapes “Tatarstan, Altai”.
For his contribution to the research, development, popularization of the Tatar folklore heritage and integration into the world musical space, the cycle of author's evenings "Ola Yul", the publication of a two-volume book with musical notation of folklore works "Onytyrga mumkin tugel " and author collections of songs and romances "Yash baryber kyzyk", “Oly Yul”, “Borchylma”, also Aydar Faizrakhmanov was marked .
The group of artists of the theater named after G.Kamal - Luciua Bikchantaeva (Khamitova), Radik Bariev, Iskander Khairullin became the winners of the award. The artists have been marked for their contribution to the development of Tatar art and the creation of stage images in the performances “Gulgamal” (“Guldjamal”), “Kirun Chichan Belan Karacchch Sylu” (“Red-haired mocker and his black-haired beauty”), “Kara Chikkmun” (“Black Burka” ), “Och senel ” (“Three sisters”), “Don Juan”.
Talgat Galiullin received an award for the essay novel Mөhәmmәt Mediyev Yoldyzlygy (Constellation of Mukhammat Magdiyev), the book Kitek kөzge (The Chipped Mirror) and the literary-critical edition “We are Descendants of the Country Tartary”.
