Within a framework of festival «Tugerek uyene III Republican festival «Iske Kazan Tugerek uyene» is held

From July 7 to 8, with a framework of All-Russia festival Tugerek uyen the III Republican festival of Tatar folklore Iske Kazan Tugerek uyene is being held . In difference to other festivals Iske Kazan Tugerek uyene is declared as festival of authentic folklore where folklore collectives present their local traditions.
The festival program a special attention heeds to preserving dialect accent of Tatar language, song, game,dance,performance traditions. Presented items for the contest are assessed by competent jury, consisting of leading scholars music critics, folklorists ethnographists of RT Academy of sciences and professors, docents of Kazan state conservatory, Kazan university of culture and art.
Twenty two folklore collectives (total 350 people) will take part in the festival on the following nominations:
1. Folklore-ethnographic composition.
2. Folklore choreography.
3. Vocal performance tradition:
3.1. Ensemble performance;
3.2Solo performance.
4. Instrumental performance tradition.
5. Performers of baits and munadjats .
6. Children folklore.

The most interesting in the festival program is a revived tradition of holding Tugerek uyene (youth evening games) where local traditions are presented likewise.
Festival is to be over in territory of Iske Kazan historic-cultural natural museum reserve by a scale folklore concert .
