From November 24 to 28, Hanoi (Vietnam) hosted the largest international festival of new music "Asia-Europe".
Our orchestra presented at the festival a diverse program of works by classics of the world avant-garde of the 20th century, contemporary Russian and Vietnamese authors, as well as Tatar composers.
Numerous audience of the festival, has warmly received the Kazan orchestra and with genuine interest listened to the music by Sofia Gubaidulina (Russia-Germany), Ilhama Baiterek (Russia, Tatarstan), Do Hong Quan (Vietnam), Leonid Rezetdinov (Russia), Alsu Sungatullina (Russia, Tatarstan), Arvo pärt (Estonia), Rashid Kalimullin (Russia, Tatarstan), Astor Piazzolla (Argentina), Vladimir Kachesov (Russia).
Together with the orchestra, soloist of the orchestra Svetlana Kashina (flute) and soloist of the ensemble "Studio of new music" (Moscow), laureate of all-Russian and international competitions Stanislav Malyshev (violin) performed as soloists at the festival. They performed the following works:" Impromptu" by Sofia Gubaidulina," Fratres "by Arvo pärt and" Seasons in Buenos Aires " by Astor Piazzolla.
