The film "Vodyanaya (Water ghost)" takes part in the 107th Russian Film Market

From November 19 to 23, the 107th Russian Film Market, the largest film content market, uniting the business program and presentations by leading representatives of the industry, took place in the conference place of the Moscow Government. The Russian film market has been held since 1989 and is the largest event of the film business in Russia and CIS countries. It is held several times a year - in April and November in Moscow and in Sochi in June (in cooperation with Kinotavr), it involves more than 4,000 representatives of film distribution companies and cinemas, production centers, film studios, creative associations, representatives of the sphere of new digital media, companies representing the whole range of technology and services for film screenings and the entertainment industry.

The business program included a block of presentations by independent companies: Astana Film Fund, Megogo Distribution, Car rental, Walt Disney Studios Sony Pictures Releasing CIS, Film Exhibitor, Capella Film, Volga, Paradise, Universal Pictures Russia, Bazelevs Distribution, “Central Partnership”, round table “Russian Film Market”.

The film by Tatarstan director Alexei Barykin "Vodyanaya" became the only participant in the film market from the republic. As a result, one of the leading film distribution organizations showed interest in the film.
