On October 9, tours of the opera troupe of the Tatar State Academic Theater named after M.Jalil will begin in Rotterdam. The play “Tosca” by Giacomo Puccini directed by Christopher Grosser will be presented to the international audience. In the future, the performance will be shown in different cities of the Kingdom of the Netherlands: Eindhoven, Gouda, Amsterdam, Zaandam, Apeldoorn and others. The tour will end in early November.
The main parts in the plays will be performed by Zoya Cererin, Oksana Kramareva (Toska), Ahmed Agadi, Nikolai Yerokhin (Kavaradossi), Stanislav Trifonov, Alexander Krasnov (Scarpia), Yuri Ivshin, Aidar Nurgayanov, Oleg Machin and others. The performers include choir and orchestra Tatar Academic State Theatre Opera and Ballet (TAGTOiB) after M. Jalil, conductors - Renat Salavatov and Alla Moskalenko.
The Opera and Ballet Theater named after M.Jalil has been conducting large-scale foreign tours annually since 1993. The collectives’s routes pass through the cities of Holland, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Belgium, Denmark and other countries.
For the season 2018/2019 three big touring tours are scheduled. In addition to the current one, another departure of the opera troupe to Europe will take place in March-April 2019 - foreign spectators will see the performances «Barber of Seville» by J. Rossini and «Evgeni Onegin» by P. Tchaikovsky. The tour of the ballet troupe with performances of classical heritage (“Swan Lake”, “The Nutcracker”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “Vain Precaution”) will take place in November-December in France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, in December 2018 - January 2019 - in Holland.
