Puppet Theater "Ekiyat" will present performances at two theatrical festivals

From September 20 to 27, the Tatar State Puppet Theater "Ekiyat" will take part in two festivals: the Tatar group in the 5th International Festival of Puppet Theaters "Assalamagalaykum-V in Aktobe, (Kazakhstan) with the performance" Taga-Chulpan, ayga-Zorә "( Chulpan - the star will rise! ..) based on the play of Zulfat, directed by the Honored art worker of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Zinnurov. A Russian group in the 7th International Festival of Puppet Theaters "Belgorod Fun" in Belgorod, where the performance "Teremok" by S. Marshak will be presented to the jury and spectators, directed by Raphael Tagirov.

The delegation included the chief director, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Zinnurov, the director Rafael Tagirov, the choreographer, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Guzal Mannapova, the People's Artists of the Republic of Tatarstan Natalia Egorova, Ramziya Fayzullina, the Honored Artists of the Republic of Tatarstan Sergey Kuznetsov, Fanzilya Sabirova, Yuri Chuktiev, Gulnur Gabdrakhmanova, Dilyus Khuzyakhmetov, Tatyana Sorokina, and so on.

The festival will also be attended by: the Belorussian Theater Lyalka, the Di Filippo Marionette Theater (Offida, Italy), the Dagestan State Puppet Theater, the Moscow Regional Puppet Theater, the Gomel State Puppet Theater, the Ingush State Theater for the Young Spectator, the North Kazakhstan the regional puppet theater and others.

The main task of the festivals is the exchange of experience, acquaintance with the most significant works by  professional theaters, the search for new dramatic material, the promotion of puppet theater art as a means of communication and mutual understanding between people of different cultures and social strata, and the "computer generation" acquaintance with the best works by the live puppet theater.
