DREAM. REALITY
Alexey Tsybisov is one of the most talented and active young artists of Tatarstan. He was born and raised in Kazan, in 2009 he graduated from the Kazan Art College. After N.I. Feshin, in 2015 - the Moscow State Academic Art Institute after VI. Surikov, in 2016 joined the Union of Artists of Russia and began teaching at the Kazan State Institute of Culture. In 2018, he completes his education at the pictorial art studios of the Russian Academy of Arts in Kazan. His first personal exhibition in the halls of the (GMII) State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan is a kind of summing up.
Alexey Tsybisov works in picturesque and graphic techniques, using traditional materials - canvas and oil, paper and graphite pencil. A good academic school determines sufficient professional freedom, interest in life makes you look into the surrounding, inner fullness gives an impulse to poetic experiences, giving rise to diametrically opposed images.
Graphics by Alexei Tsybisov - a direct reflection of the visible world, which makes us remember the once fashionable direction of "hyperrealism", the interest in which is again reborn in our time. His drawings are an attentive and in-depth analysis of reality, forcing, with scrupulously accurate reproduction of forms-whether portraits of old men with a difficult fate or life-hiding young men, abandoned houses with boarded-up windows or rusty metal of mechanical monsters-to see the essence of things.
Alexei Tsybisova's paintings are inhabited by images that evoke nostalgic feelings about the Belle Époque, a beautiful era on the eve of the First World War, when scientific and technological progress was accompanied by the flowering of culture and art, when men were courageous and elegant, and women were tender and adorable. Refined lines of silhouettes, devoid of portrait characteristics, subtle color combinations, elegant play of picturesque textures - all this allows not only to imagine, but also to see the Artist's Dream personally.
The exhibition will last until September 17, 2018.
