In Kazan the 2nd festival of national literatures of the peoples of Russia will be held

August 30, 2018 in Kazan the Festival of National Literatures of the Peoples of Russia, which will be held in the framework of celebrating the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Day of the City of Kazan will take place. More than 100 participants will take part in the events: representatives of 26 regions of the Russian Federation, bearers of 40 national languages.

On the square near the "Kazan" Family Center, authors who write in national languages will present their works in four literary tents:

1.Pavilion (Big tent) "Aksakaly". Folk writers, poets, writers will tell about their creative paths.

Regions: Altai, Buryatia, Dagestan, Ingushenia, Kalmykia, Karelia, Sakhalin, Tatarstan, Tuva, Chukotka.

2.Pavilion "Book". Authors from different parts of our country will hold creative meetings, presentations of their publications, and tell about the peculiarities of book publishing in national languages.

Regions: Adygea, Dagestan, Karachaevo-Cherkessia, Kemerovo, Komi, Crimea, Mari El, Mordovia, Serebryanye Osetiya, Tatarstan, Tyumen, Chechnya, Yakutia.

3. The "Lectory" tent. The scientific program will highlight the problems of linguistics, national literatures, features of translation activity.

The program will be attended by lecturers from the regions: Dagestan, Karachaevo-Cherkessia, Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District, Yakutia.

4. The "Children's" tent. Within the framework of the children's program there will be presentations of children's literature, master classes, interactive classes, legends and legends, theatrical and musical performances.

Regions: Karelia, Mari El, Murmansk Region, Tatarstan, Tyumen Region, Chukotka, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, Khabarovsk Territory, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area.

The program in the Tents will begin at 11.00 am and will last until the evening.

A festive concert will take place on the big stage. 13 performers from different regions of our country will perform: choreographic, vocal ensembles, singers, storytellers.

The Festival of National Literatures of the Peoples of Russia will be held with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications, and the Kazan City Hall.
