"Night of Cinema" will be held in Kazan

August 25 in many regions of Russia for the third time All-Russian action "Night of Cinema" starts. On this day, popular Russian films will be shown. The Cinema Foundation, in conjunction with the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, announced an Internet voting for the pictures that would be shown during the "Cinema Night" on August 25, 2018. Voting took place on the website of the TASS news agency.

The leaders of the popular online voting were films: "Tanks" by Kim Druzhinin, "The Line" by Dmitry Tyurin and "The Last Bogatyr" by Dmitry Dyachenko. The fourth place was taken by Anton Megerdichev's film "Movement Up". On the eighth was a thriller by Yegor Baranov "Gogol. Viy ", the 12th line was taken by the directorial debut of Konstantin Khabensky" Sobibor ", on the 14th place - the historical drama" Matilda "by Alexei Uchitel.

Internet voting for popular Russian films across the country began in early July. Everyone could take part in it, and it was possible to cast their votes simultaneously for any number of tapes. Altogether there were 26 works on the list.

All-Russian action "Night of Cinema" is being carried out by the Cinema Foundation with the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation in conjunction since 2016. In the period from 2016 to 2017, more than 1.5 million people visited.

In 2017, 9 municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the action "Night of Cinema". This year, films will be screened at 31 venues. In Kazan, the action will be held on the square after Aksenov and Gorkinsko-Ometyevsk forest.
