RT National museum opens exhibition «Surprising world of butterflies»

On March 3, at 10.00, an exhibition called “Surprising world of butterflies opens at RT National museum.
RT National museum keeps a big collection of butterflies from tropical countries (Sovka Agrippa, Atlas) and from local regions of Russia (Mahaon, Admiral, Traurnitza).
Live tropical butterflies from the South-East Asia, South and Central America, Australia and Africa are displayed at the exhibition.
Guests of the museum will see flight of butterflies, how they feed, the process of emergence of butterfly from case.
The exhibition presents also live bird spiders (more 20 species), scorpions, scolopendra, cockroaches «Dead head» and other insects.
The visitors will be able to acquire souvenirs in form of collection of bright butterflies in glass frames, accessories with insects, live butterflies and bird spiders.
The exhibition lasts until April 29.
