On July 17, at the Exhibition Hall of the Elabuga State Museum-Reserve, the grand opening of the final exhibition of the works by the participants of the 13th International Art Symposium on Contemporary Art on the topic "Folk Games and Fun" was held. It was organized by the YSMZ with the support of the Ministries of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan and the Department Union of Artists of Russia in Tatarstan.
The guests were welcomed by General Consul of Hungary in Kazan Adam Shtifter, manager of the affairs of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irina Mukhametgareyeva, deputy head of the Elabuga Municipal District Zulfiya Sungatullina and General Director of the YSMZ Gulzada Rudenko.

Organizers and honorary guests of the holiday presented memorable signs to the participants of the art symposium, who, in turn, handed their works to the museum-reserve funds. Presented to the audience were the performances by TUAR ensemble "Syuyumbike", the Udmurt ensemble "Invozho", the Mari ensemble "Mari Zori", the folk ensemble of Kryashen "Ak Kaz", Talgat Zaripov and Dilyara Mirovaeva.
It should be noted that over 10 days of the project, which has long been a brand event in the art world, the collection of the museum-reserve has been supplemented by 70 unique works of 43 artists from 12 countries (Ethiopia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Portugal, Moldova, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Russia) and 8 republics of the Russian Federation.
Participants of the symposium depicted games and entertainments, representing ancient traditions of 16 nations of the world - children's, wedding, hunting, sports and others, as well as their own memories, impressions and philosophical reflections with the help of various techniques on canvases, cardboard, paper. The exposition is complemented by a casket made of bone created by one of the artists, and women's costumes made in the last century in the Bulgarian, Hungarian and Tatar national traditions.
The exhibition of the art symposium "People's games and fun" will run until August 6.
