XVIII Federal Sabantuy will be held in the city of Cheboksary

On July 6-7, Cheboksary of the Chuvash Republic will host celebrations dedicated to the 18th Federal Sabantuy. On July 6, there will be a concert of masters of arts of the Republic of Tatarstan and a reception on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Chuvash State Opera and Ballet Theater.

In the foyer of the theater an exhibition of masters of folk art crafts of the Republic of Tatarstan will be organized. Performers of the Republic of Tatarstan will take part in the concert: the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Tatarstan, soloists Dilara Palatovф, Karina Ziganshina, Zarina Vildanova, Ramil Aymetdinov, Azat Abitov, "Bolgar kyzlary" trio. As well as the Choreographic Republic of Chuvash Republic: Chuvash State Academic Song and Dance Ensemble, folk song and dance ensemble "Mishar", folk vocal ensemble "Yalkin", children's ensemble "Tamchy". The concert begins at 18.00.

On July 7, the 18th Federal Sabantuy will take place on the Red Square of the city of Cheboksary with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and  Head of the Chuvash Republic Mikhail Ignatiev. More than 500 representatives of Tatar public organizations from 41 regions of the Russian Federation are expected to visit the event.
