Congratulations of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan on the International Day of Museums

Accept the warmest and most sincere congratulations on the professional holiday - the International Day of Museums. I sincerely thank you for your invaluable work and selfless devotion to the preservation and promotion of national cultural values.

Our republic has a rich museum heritage. The total museum fund of the republic has increased to almost two million units of storage. In the public life of the country, museums today occupy a special place, acting simultaneously as communicative platforms and cultural and educational centers. Demand for museums confirms the constant growth in  number of visitors. In 2017, more than 6 million people visited the museums of the Republic of Tatarstan. Every year the number of joint exhibition projects with federal museums is increasing, which contributes to the growth of interest of residents and visitors of the republic to the cultural heritage kept in the museums of Tatarstan. In general, over the last decade there has been a qualitative leap in  museum matters, and it was you, the museum workers, who contributed to this by their professionalism and selfless activity.
