Within the framework of the All-Russian action "Night of Museums" on May 19 from 18.00 until midnight the Museum of Islamic Culture will present the program "Evening and Night of Creativity and Comfort". Night exhibits, treats, meetings with artists are waiting for guests.
For the first time in Kazan, only on "Museum Nights" an unusual master class for children and adults "Eco-souvenir" will be held, where guests can make a magnet on a wooden base with a calligraphic composition or pattern. Also, there will be master classes "Spring Flower" for knitting brooch and "Mehendi". The winner of the state award of the Republic of Tatarstan named after G. Tukay Najip Nakkash will help to write the names of the elegant Arabic script on beautiful cards.
The program of the evening will feature exhibitions of two Kazan calligraphers, laureates of international competitions Nadjip Nakkash and Gulnaz Ismagilova.
"Night of Museums" this year was the beginning of the post in the month of Ramadan. Under the motto "Post-simple" there will be a meeting where visitors will learn about the benefits of fasting and will be able to eat dates and fruits after sunset.
