Kazan will take part in the All-Russian action dedicated to the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture
On May 24, throughout Russia, traditional celebrations dedicated to the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture will be traditionally held. Within the limits of the action in capital of Tatarstan the concert with participation of the largest musical collectives of Kazan will take place. The event will be held at the Bolshoi Concert Hall named after S.Saidashev. The beginning at 13.00. Free admission.
Academic and folk choirs will take part in the Kazan concert: the State Chamber Choir of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Choir of the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Consolidated Choir of Kazan Children's Musical Schools, the Kazan State Institute of Culture Choir, the Kazan Musical College Choir named after I.Aukhadeev.
The repertoire has been developed by a working group of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, and uniform for all cities taking part in the action.
A live broadcast of the celebration of the Day of Slavic Written Language on Red Square in Moscow will be conducted on the "Russia-Culture" TV channel on May 24 from 12.55.
