Scientific conference dedicated to 125th anniversary of Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukai took place in Istanbul

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov sent his welcome to the forum participants. The official delegation from Tatarstan with Vice Chairman of RT State Council Rimma Ratnikova and Tatarstan Minister of culture Airat Sibagatullin took part in a ceremony of opening
Opening the conference IRCICA General director Dr Khalit Eren paid a special attention to deepening interaction between cultural, scientific and educational institutions between Tatarstan and IRCICA, he dealt on everlasting value of studying and publication of Gubdulla Tukai works.
For participation in the forum arranged by IRCICA and RT Ministry of culture arrived prominent historians and men of letters - specialists of RT Academy of sciences, Kazan federal university and the universities of Turkish Republic from Ankara, Izmir. Erzurum.
The issues discussed at the conference covered the problems of Tukai creativity: research of Al-Quran motifs in his poetic works and history of appearance of G. Tukai poems in print, critic of poetry of Tukai in creativity of his contemporary Jamleddin Validi, Turkey in poet’s creativity. Turkish colleges offered the themes for debating about Tatar folklore in creative heritage of the poet , Japan and Japanese in his works and witnesses of his contemporaries - Musa Bigiev and Yusuf Akchura.
Within the ceremony of opening, delivering Letters of gratitude and gifts form the RT Ministry of culture to the official persons who contributed in preserving and popularization of Tatar culture in Turkey was held. On behalf of the awarded, Head of administration of Farikh district of Istanbul Mustafa Demir made a return speech.
The speeches of guests and scientific reports were heard with a big interest.
