The Pupil of the Year - 2018

The federal public institution "Interregional Center for Development and Support of Gifted and Talented Youth" informs about the National Contest "Pupil of the Year - 2018".

The purpose of the contest  is to identify and support students of general education organizations that have achieved significant results in scientific and educational, cultural, creative, sports and social activities. The project is implemented in support of the Fundamentals of the State Youth Policy by the Russian Federation for the period until 2025, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 2403-r of 29.11.2014.

To participate in the contest pupils  of 9-11 grades of state (municipal) and non-state general education organizations are invited in the following nominations:

"For high achievements in educational activity", take part - prize-winners and winners of subject Olympiads, participants of scientific and practical conferences, competitions of research works and other similar events.

"For high achievements in sports", take part - prize-winners and winners of sports competitions and other similar events, participants of sports teams and sports clubs.

"For high achievements in creative activity", take part - prize-winners and winners of creative festivals and competitions, participants of creative collectives of amateur performances.

"For high achievements in public activities", participants and organizers of public events, social projects and actions, members and leaders of children's and youth public associations, and bodies of student self-government take part.

The competition is held in two stages: the qualifying round (submission of applications and examination of competitive works) - until 15.04.2018 (inclusive), the final - on 28-29.04.2018 in Krasnoyarsk.

As a result, the winner of the contest will be awarded a cash prize of 100,000 (one hundred thousand) rubles. In addition, prize winners of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degrees will be distributed among the contest participants.

For participation in the qualifying round the event will be charged (organizational fee). In addition, the services for accommodation, meals, transport support for the final participants of the event and the production of handouts are paid.
