Alexey Pesoshin took part in the final board of the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan

Today, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin took part in the meeting of the final board of the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan. The participants discussed the results of the department's activities for 2017 and set tasks for this year.

 

In the course of his speech, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin noted that  the past year, many significant cultural events took place in the republic. First of all, this is the introduction of the Assumption Cathedral and the monastery of the island-grad Sviyazhsk into the list of World Cultural and Natural Heritage sites of UNESCO. Also, last year the Bulgarian Islamic Academy was opened, the implementation of a large-scale federal project to create a multimedia historical park "Russia is My History" was completed.

 

According to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, thanks to stable funding from the republican and federal budgets in 2017, all priority projects identified by the leadership received worthy state financial support. Consolidated budget of the cultural sector for the past year amounted to 13.7 billion rubles, including from the republican treasury - 8.9 billion rubles. The share of expenditures on culture in the total budget expenditure was 4.9%. Grant support of cultural institutions has exceeded  by 300 million rubles.

 

There is an increase in the average salary in the cultural institutions of the republic. Today it is 33.8 thousand rubles for state organizations, and 23.5 thousand rubles for municipal organizations. Substantial support in the implementation of many initiatives was provided by the federal center. So,  the past year, 454 million rubles have been allocated from the federal budget. Alexei Pesoshin called on the leadership of the department to search for other financial sources that would complement the state support. In particular, to use the model of public-private partnership in the sphere of culture and attract business.

 

The Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan noted that one of the topical issues for today is the activity of rural houses of culture. Over the past 6 years, the republic has built 257 new cultural facilities in the countryside for a total of 2.6 billion rubles. For 3 years, under the capital repair program, 114 clubs have been restored for the amount of 798 million rubles. The work will continue this year as well: construction of 28 objects and a capital repair of 42 cultural objects is planned for the sum of almost 625 million rubles. "I would like to draw your attention to the fact that all institutions must work in full force, they must be filled with interesting forms of work and meet the needs of our residents, becoming centers of cultural attraction," Alexei Pesoshin added, calling for special attention to attract young specialists to work in the countryside.

 

The Prime Minister of Tatarstan stressed that today it is necessary to support creative projects for children and youth audiences, the implementation of educational and educational programs by cultural institutions. "The theme of childhood, the creation of new interesting children's works should become priority areas for all cultural institutions and creative unions," said Alexey Pesoshin. - A number of projects are already working today: the Sozvezdie festival, the educational project "The schoolchild's cultural diary." It is necessary to continue to develop this direction. "

 

Among the priority areas of the work, Alexey Pesoshin also noted the training of highly qualified workforce, the development of the volunteer movement in the sphere of culture, the preservation and use of cultural heritage.
