At the Kazan State Institute of Culture, the All-Russian Youth Film Show "Break for Cinema" about the heroes of the Great Patriotic War took place.
In the period from 4 to 15 December, on the eve of the Heroes' Day of the Russian Federation, in more than 60 cities throughout the country, the All-Russian film show dedicated to the heroic defenders of the Motherland during the Great Patriotic War was held. All paintings are laureates of the Short Film Festival "The Break for the Cinema", and their creators are high school pupils and students.
The purpose of the events is to remind the Russian youth in an interesting way about the tragedy of the war and about those, thanks to whom these terrible events are observed today only on the screen.
The Faculty of Cinematography and Television of the Kazan State Institute of Culture for the second time supported the action of the All-Russia show of the "Break for War" project. The first show took place in September, the film program consisted of paintings dedicated to the memory of defenders of the besieged Leningrad.
The students watched 3 films: "Hello, baby!", "Fabian Schlecht", "Thunderstorm and lightning of the seas". After the show, a discussion of the films took place. According to the general opinion of students and teachers, thematic screenings of films about heroic deeds should be held regularly, since it is these pictures that shape the worldview of young citizens of the country.
In the future, the project will include screenings for Defender of the Fatherland Day and Victory Day.
