The jubilee concert by the State Songs and Dance Ensemble of Tatarstan was held in Kazan

On December 12, the jubilee concert of the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Tatarstan was held at the Opera and Ballet Theater named after M. Jalil, to which the renowned collective celebrated its 80th anniversary.

Honorary guests of the concert were Executive Director of the Foundation for Support of Culture Development under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Nuria Khashimova, RT Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin, representatives of the Kazan City Hall, as well as the Kuban Cossack Choir, Bashkir State Dance Ensemble. Faizi Gaskarova and others.

The concert was held at a full house. The team showed the history of the revival of the ensemble in the post-revolutionary period until the 90s of the last century. For greater realism, newsreels were used. And  favorite, but still recognizable songs sounded in a new arrangement.

"80 years is a whole human life," stressed art director of the State Ensemble, People's Artist of Tatarstan Airat Khametov. - During this time, several generations of artists have changed in the collective, creative families have formed, legendary singers, dancers and musicians have been replaced by new talents, but they are all connected by the same purpose - faith and truth to serve their native culture and native people. As Tukai said, the song is the most precious heritage from our ancestors. We protect this heritage and pass it to our viewers, since it is the audience's love and love for creativity that is the key to the longevity of the ensemble, "Khametov said.

The program of the three-hour concert included classical works of the "golden fund" of the ensemble and colorful numbers, most beloved by the audience in the history of the collective. At the end of the program, the audience applauded the actors for several minutes.

On behalf of the President of Tatarstan the legendary collective was congratulated by RT Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin.

"The State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Tatarstan is our pride! Wherever the ensemble performed, I always emphasize that it  is the face of our republic, our people, a visiting card of Tatarstan culture. I want to express special gratitude to the veterans of the ensemble, as the young generation continues the path laid by them. Today the choir, the orchestra, and the dancers have opened up to me from a new perspective. It's an honor for me to congratulate your illustrious collective  on the anniversary, "said Airat Sibagatullin.

To the applause and screams "Bravo" the Minister of Culture awarded the honorary titles "Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan" to Rail Ganiev, Vitaly Subukhanov, Dilyara Palatova, Chulpan Salimullina and Aigul Kiyamova.

For many years of fruitful work and great contribution to the development of culture. The gratitude of the President of the Republic of Tatartsan was announced to the collective  of the ensemble - the artistic director of the ensemble, the People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Khametov, the director of the ensemble, the Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Yury Zhukov, the chief choreographer of the ensemble, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Railya Garipova , Chief choirmaster of the ensemble, Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Tatarstan Niyaz Garayev.

Today on the stage of the Opera and Ballet Theater. after M. Jalil  the second jubilee concert of the ensemble will take place.
