December 12 in Kazan announced the winners of the XVII Interregional festival-contest of theatrical groups "Idel-yort"

Award ceremony will be held at  the Tatar State Academic Theatre named after  G. Kamal at 18.00.

Since the beginning of the year, three rounds of the contest have been held, about 600 people took part in them. They are people of different ages and professions: pensioners, businessmen, schoolchildren, students, teachers, club and library workers, and agriculture.

The performances of the second round, which took place in 8 zones, and the final stage in Kazan were watched by more than 26 thousand spectators.

The first round of the festival-contest was held in municipal districts and cities of the republic from January to March 2017. The jury evaluated over 100 performances of folk theaters and theatrical collectives from the Republic of Tatarstan, Ulyanovsk region and the Udmurt Republic.

From March to May 2017 in Nizhnekamsk, Menzelinsk, Bugulminsky, Almetyevsky, Buinsk, Atninsky municipal districts,  Naberezhnye Chelny, Kazan hosted the second round of the XVII Interregional festival-contest of theatrical groups "Idel yort". It was attended by 42 teams, including from Udmurtia and Ulyanovsk.

From November 8 to 21, 2017, the final round of the contest was held in Kazan. Artists from Aktanysh, Agryz, Arsk, Almetyevsky, Apastovsky, Bugulminsky, Bavlinsky, Vysokogorsky, Kaybitsky, Muslyumovsky, Mamadysh, Menzelin, Novosheshminsky, Sarmanovsky, Cheremshansky, Chistopolsky municipal districts, Kazan, and also from Izhevsk and Ulyanovsk presented their works.

The performances were judged with the utmost rigor by a competent jury, which included: the head of the literary and dramatic part of the Tatar State Academic Theatre after  G. Kamala,  the  laureate of the Theater Prize after  D. Siraziev Iglamof  Niyaz Raufovich; Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, the  laureate of state awards after  G. Tukay and M. Jalil, Professor of the Kazan State Institute of Culture Nikolai Ivanovich Dunaev; member of the Union of Composers of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Candidate of Art Criticism of the Republic of Tatarstan;  the laureate of Musa Jalil  Award   Elmira Munirovna Galimova; the Actor, director of the Atninsky Tatar drama theater Sideyev Damir Radikovich;   the Director, playwright, member of the Writers' Union of Tajikistan Gafur Shakurovich Kayumov; Gali Akhatovich Gabdrakhmanov, Deputy Director of the Republican Center for the Development of Traditional Culture, Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan.

We remind that  XVII Interregional festival-competition of theater groups "Idel-yort" has been  held since 2008. in accordance with the Plan of Major Measures of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan. His goals are the further development of amateur theatrical art, the enrichment of the repertoire of theatrical collectives with highly artistic works, the raising of the level of directing and staging works, the performing skill of artists, the exchange of experience of theatrical groups, the rendering to theatrical collectives of methodical and practical help by specialists and artists of professional theaters.
