In early December, the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan traditionally holds a decade of the disabled people.

At  the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan and its structural divisions, people with health restrictions are served free of charge throughout the year, take part in many activities, but in the beginning of December they receive a special attention. Employees try to take into account all the wishes of this category of visitors.

From December 1 to December 10, 2017, at the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan  and its branches within the framework of the decade of disabled people, sightseeing tours, lectures on the history of Tatarstan, as well as concerts will be held. A separate area for holding museums will be a "Touching Exhibition", where tactile exhibits are actively used. The staff prepared special programs "Dwelling spirit of times" and "Miracles in the hands", and also planned to show the film with a surdo and typhlo comments "Fur-trees shaggy".

On December 2, the National Museum will become a participant of the All-Russian action "Museum for All! Day of Inclusion." It is held within the framework of the project "Inclusive Museum", whose mission is to develop the best practices of socialization and creative rehabilitation of children with disabilities by museum means, as well as in the formation of an accessible environment in museums. On this day, inclusive events will be held for children with disabilities, children with mental disabilities, their families and all interested participants. For example, in the National Museum of RT for children with autism, a master class by artist Mili Nurullina will be organized. Together with parents, small visitors will write a picture in the genre of still life. During the work, the exhibits of the tactile exhibition of the National Museum will be used, which will become part of a special art exhibition. A separate program has been  prepared by  branches of the National Museum  likewise.
