Chairman of the Udmurt community of Tatarstan became the best head of the NGO of Russia

Chairman of the National and Cultural Autonomy of the Udmurts of the Republic of Tatarstan Andrey Gerasimov took the first place at the contest of leaders of non-profit organizations and public associations implementing projects in the sphere of the state national policy of the Russian Federation.

The contest was held in Perm, within the framework of the All-Russian Forum of National Unity.

Andrei Gerasimov presented the project "How to preserve and develop the culture of his people in the Russian identity" in the Federal competition by the example of the strategy of Udmurt autonomy development until 2025. As a result of the competition, he won first place and was awarded a gold medal.

This competition was established with the purpose of activating the activity of civil society institutions working in the sphere of national relations, creating a sustainable system of participation of Russian citizens in various activities aimed at preserving, multiplying and spreading the experience of friendship among peoples, strengthening intercultural and interethnic cooperation, unity of the Russian nation, ensuring ethno-political stability in the Russian society.
