Geographic dictation at the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan

November 26, 2017, the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan will become  one of the sites for the international educational action "Geographic dictation", organized by the Russian Geographical Society.

The purpose of the dictation is to obtain objective information about the geographical literacy of the population of Russia and the level of knowledge about Russia abroad. Registration at the National Museum of the RT  begins at 11:30, and the action will start at 12:00.

Test questions will include 30 items, divided into three blocks: knowledge of geographical concepts and terms, the ability to work with a map, the definition of geographical objects on the records of travelers' diaries and excerpts from art works.

Participation in the dictation is voluntary and free. The time for executing assignments by participants in the Dictation is no more than 45 minutes.
