Cinema actor Oleg Taktarov conducted a master class in Kazan

The Kazan Suvorov School hosted a master-class by  the famous Russian actor, director, producer and world champion in mixed martial arts Oleg Taktarov. The event was attended by about 100 Suvorovtsev (cadets) engaged in sports and combat sambo, as well as army hand-to-hand fighting.

At the opening of the event there was a member of the State Duma of Russia, coordinator of the federal project "Children's Sports" Olga Pavlova.

Star of popular fighters Oleg Taktarov focused on explaining  basic technique to  the participants of  the master class. Particular attention was paid to the skills of holding a position and dominating a duel. The athlete shared with young wrestlers the experience of working in par terre, the ability to knock down opponent’s  grips and direct the force vector to the right place at the right angle. The guest himself was pleased by the conversation with the Suvorovites.

"I want to note the excellent physical state  of the boys. Great work. But the technical preparation is not yet at a sufficient level. There is something to learn. I understand that at one time it is impossible to convey all of your knowledge. But I gave them some material for further work and self-development, "summed up the world champion.

At the end of the master class, Russian film director Yegor Klimovich presented the trailer for the new documentary film "Oleg Taktarov".

"Oleg's story is very close to me: I myself am an athlete in the past, with a head gone to the cinema. The film promises to be a large-scale, recently we have finished shooting in America, now we are negotiating with Ireland. We hope that the film will be  overtaken by a wide popularity, the same as its geography, "- said the director.

The film's premiere is scheduled for April 2018.
