Tatarstan cinema will be shown for the first time in the cinema of Europe

On November 11, the European premiere of Tatarstan's films by young director Ilshat Rakhimbai will take place at the Leipzig cinema. The program features short films "Imagine", "I do not believe" and clips in Tatar and Russian languages ​​with English subtitles.

It is also planned to show a documentary film directed by Radif Kashapov and Ilyas Gafarov "Tugan Yak", which tells about the life of European Tatars.

Within the framework of the program, Tatar-speaking children will be contacting with Tatarstan filmmakers.

Ilshat Rahimbai is a bright representative of the "new Tatar cinema wave",  the  winner of international film festivals, winner of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Award "For Humanism in Cinema" within the framework of the XIII Kazan International Muslim Film Festival.

The organizers of the film weekend are the young Tatars of Leipzig: Danis Aliaskarov, Gulnaz Valeeva, Asiya Matushanskaya and Danis Sagitov.
