November 5 at 10.00 the Kazan State Institute of Culture will host the first round of the IX International TV contest of young performers "Tatar mony-2017". To participate in the contest, instrumentalists and performers of Tatar songs from all regions of the republic, Russian regions, CIS countries are invited.
Participants will show their talents in three rounds. The selection of the contestants has already been held at the Kazan State Conservatory named after N. Zhiganov and the Kazan College of Music named after I. Aukhadeev. Also, there will be a selection of the sent video and audio recordings. The second and third tours will be held in Kazan from November 20 to November 25 live on TV channels TNV-Tatarstan and TNV-Planeta.
On November 7 at 14.00 in the Information Agency "Tatar-Inform" a press conference will be held dedicated to the start of the competition. People's Artist of Tatarstan, Honored Artist of Russia Salavat Fatkhutdinov, project manager Milyausha Aytuganova, head of the Tatar music department of the Kazan State Conservatoire named after N. Zhiganov Sagit Khabibullin, Executive Producer of the Project Ilseyar Shigapova and Honored Artist of Tatarstan Filyus Kagirov will take part in it. The laureates of the contest "Tatar Monas" of the past years - the couple of Ilmira Gilfanova and Rafil Zalaliev - are also invited to the press conference.
Every year "Tatar mony" opens dozens of new names - performers of folk songs and works of classics of Tatar music culture at the age of 15-35, vocal and instrumental ensembles.
The contest is held in the following nominations: "Solo Vocal" (male and female voices), "Instrumental Performance", "Vocal and Instrumental Ensembles", "Academic Vocals". The Organizing Committee annually establishes two additional nominations for the contest. This year, the Alfia Avzalova and Khania Farkhi Awards have been established.
The winners of the contest will be awarded with diplomas of the laureate, cash prizes, memorable prizes and will take part in a gala concert on November 28 at the Cultural Entertainment Complex Pyramid.
Wihin the framework of the event, the participants of the contest will have master classes and meetings with famous cultural figures and popular artists of the variety art of Tatarstan.
The purpose of the competition is to promote the Tatar folk song and works by Tatar composers, introduce young people to national cultural values, identify and support talented young performers, and develop their creative potential.
The founders of the Competition are the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Foundation for Support of Cultural Development under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Salavat Stage Theater, the Novy Vek Television and Radio Company, the Executive Committee of the World Tatar Congress.
