October 27, 2017 on the territory of the exhibition center "Kazan Fair" the official opening ceremony of the regional multimedia historical park "Russia - My History", telling about the landmarks of the state from ancient times to the present will take place.
The project is implemented with the support of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Moscow Patriarchate. Until the end of 2017, similar historical parks should be established in 17 regions of the Russian Federation, including the Republic of Tatarstan. The implementation of the project is under the control of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation, senior officials of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation (heads) are designated as responsible persons for the establishment of the park.
The exposition area of the park in the Republic of Tatarstan is more than 5 500 square meters.
At the multimedia historical park "Russia is my history" there are four expositions:
The exposition "Rurikovichi" - feats by princes, soldiers and diplomats, the history of everyday life, the role of ancient trade routes and multimedia reconstruction of the legendary battles. The ideological center of the exposition is a large-scale dome of St. Sergius of Radonezh, representing a conceptual video of the life of a saint.
The exposition the Romanovs is a grandiose accomplishment and tragic events that our country experienced during 300 years of the reign of the last ruling dynasty of our Fatherland. The key exhibit of the exhibition is a widescreen video installation dedicated to the dynasty of the Romanov dynasty.
The exposition is "1914-1945: From Great Upheavals to the Great Victory" - Two World Wars, three revolutions, breaking of centuries-old customs, mass repressions, brutal social experiments ...
The exposition - 1945-2016: from the Victory in the Great Patriotic War to 2016 - highlights an unusually dramatic historical period, which was attended by most of us, with a modern multimedia content of the exhibition, and these are virtual reality glasses, interactive tables with content, dedicated to the grandiose and vivid projects of the USSR, interactive applications about the culture of everyday life of the second half of the twentieth century, as well as many multimedia books about vaiety, theater and sports.
In addition to the history of Russia, the park's exposition will also reflect and present the history of the Republic of Tatarstan, the historical and cultural heritage of the peoples of the republic from ancient times to the present day:
History of the Volga Bulgaria, as a powerful state of the whole Volga region, the Golden Horde period and the Tatar khanate, as well as the history of the formation and development of the Tatarstan, including video projection collages telling about the centuries-old history of the Tatar people, a multimedia book about cultural figures of the Tatar region and much more. Particular attention will be paid to the valor and exploits of national heroes.
In the Historical Park there are all forms of information carriers: touch tables and screens, roomy cinemas, light boxes, collages, projectors, touch kiosks, kinekts. In preparing the exposition various techniques of video infographics, animation, three-dimensional modeling and digital reconstructions have been used.
And if the standard program of history implies the study of material on a textbook with a strictly defined set of illustrative material, then in a multimedia complex, visitors will be more deeply immersed in history - to learn not only about rulers, but also about other personalities of that period, details of life.
The creators of the Historical Park - historians, artists, filmmakers, designers, computer graphics specialists - have done everything to make Russian history go from the category of black and white textbook to a bright, fascinating and at the same time objective narrative, so that every visitor feels involved in events of more than thousand-year history of his Fatherland.
