"This year the   event   has received an  international status. If in 2016 the Big Ethnographic Dictation was written only in Turkey and Switzerland, this year, together with our partners - Rossotrudnichestvo - we provided an opportunity to participate in the action to all our compatriots in the countries of the Near Abroad, as well as those who are interested in history, culture, traditions and the customs of the peoples living in Russia, "said the head of the Federal Agency for Nationalities Igor Barinov.

Anyone can become a participant in the dictation. It is enough to apply to any regional site for its writing, regardless of place of residence, or to a foreign representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo. Their addresses can be found on the site www.miretno.ru and on the site of FADN of Russia http://fadn.gov.ru, and also in the groups "Big ethnographic dictation" in social networks. The results will be summed up by the Constitution Day of the Russian Federation on December 12.

The organizers of the cultural and educational action "The Great Ethnographic Dictation" are the Federal Agency for Nationalities Affairs and the Ministry of National Policy of the Udmurt Republic with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo, the research partner of the Department of Management in the field of interethnic and interdenominational relations of the Faculty of Public Administration of the Moscow State University. For reference: For the first time such an action was held in 2016. Its participants were almost 90 thousand people: 35 thousand in person and more than 50 thousand - online. The average score for the country was 54 points out of 100 possible.
