Kazan International Muslim Film Festival and "Time of Cinema" Forum will be presented at the Youth Film Forum

October 15-16 in Sochi within the framework of the International Youth Film Forum  a two-day summit will be held dedicated to the development of regional and debut cinematography. The organizer of the film forum is the Youth Center of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia. The cultural program includes workshops, master classes from film schools and creative meetings with leading cinematographers.

It is planned to hold a round table themed "Regional cinema in Russia. Production, distribution, festivals ». In the event will take part Yevgeny Gerasimov, Chairman of the Moscow Organization of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, Andrey Sorokin, Adviser to the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Churbanov, Director of the Sverdlovsk Film Studio, Dmitry Yakunin, Director of the Youth Center of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, Albina Nafigova, Head of the Educational Forum "Time of Cinema" (Kazan) director of the International Street Cinema Festival Alexander Scheryakov, as well as the organizers of youth film festivals, pitches from more than 10 regions of Russia.

Within the framework of the round table, a presentation of the All-Russia debutant pitching  will take place, which was first launched this year in Kazan at the "Time of Cinema" forum. Also, at the event will be presented  top regional film projects, film communities and film studios, educational programs.

On the same day, the audience will be presented with short films from Tatarstan, which were included in the contest program of the Kazan International Muslim Film Festival, including prize-winners and diplomats. Film festival program will be presented by director - Albina Nafigova.

On October 16, the participants of the summit will hold the Strategic Session "Youth Cinematography in Russia. Points of Growth, Opportunities for Restrictions, "which will discuss issues related to the development of regional and debut cinematography. The resolution created after the session will be presented at the next Congress of the Union of Russian Film Makers in mid-December.
