Exhibition by the Donetsk artist opens at the House of Friendship

The  House of Friendship of Peoples of Tatarstan   featured an exhibition of the artist from Donetsk, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR Ravil Akmayev.

Ravil Akmayev is an artist, painter and sculptor. The compositions created by him are a visiting card of Donetsk. Akmaev is a laureate of 10 all-Union and republican poster competitions, a participant of fifty personal exhibitions, his works are in museums and private collections of many countries (Russia, Ukraine, Hungary, Poland, the USA). Ravil Akmayev is a member of the Moscow Creative Union of Tatar-Bashkir artists "Rassam".

"Ravil Akmayev can not be called a static artist. Obsessed with a sense of novelty, he is always in creative pursuit. He  affirms  himself in them as a person, as an artist with his own set of topics and subjects, not only reflecting the surrounding world, but creating his own, built on subtle life observations and rich creative imagination.

This world is densely populated and multifaceted, as by  fictional characters as well as real historical, and not very, persons: kings, writers, poets, musicians, artists and our contemporaries live peacefully, "the organizers of the exhibition noted.

To emphasize a long-standing connection between Tatarstan and Donbass, at the opening ceremony of the exhibition the Tatar folk song "Shakhta" was performed by the Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Filius Kagirov.

The Tatar community in the Donbass was formed from the second half of the XIX century, when many residents of the middle Volga region went to earn money for coal mines.

The greeting words were voiced by Deputy Head of the Department  the Implementation of the National Policy of the Department for Internal Policy of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Evgeny Efimov, Head of the Department for the Development of Museum Affairs of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan  Damir Natfullin, Director of the Donetsk Republican Art Museum Nadezhda Anischenko, Deputy Director of the House of Friendship of Peoples of Tatarstan Natalia Myasnikova, RT  Union of artists  Zufar  Gimaev and the author of works  Ravil Akmayev, who told about his Tatar roots.

Assistance in organizing the exhibition of Ravil Akmayev in Kazan was provided by the Donetsk Republican Art Museum. The museum today has a large collection of works by contemporary Donetsk masters of painting, drawing, sculpture, applied art, as well as works of Western European art of the XVII - XIX centuries. artists of Italy, Holland, France, Germany, Spain, Poland.

Head of the Department for  Development of Museum Affairs of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan  Damir Natullin stressed that this is the first exhibition of art works from the Donetsk People's Republic in Tatarstan. Next year the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan plans to organize a return exhibition to the People's Republic of Donetzk.

Pictures will be exhibited at the House of Friendship of Peoples of Tatarstan for a month. Anyone can also acquire  the works they liked.

Also, within the framework of the event, an Agreement on cooperation in the sphere of culture between the Donetsk National Art Museum and the House of Friendship of Peoples of Tatarstan  has been  signed.
