In Elabuga, the names of laureates of the extraordinary the  VIII Literary Award named after Marina Tsvetaeva have been  announced.

This year it was received by Olga Trukhacheva, grandchild of Marina Tsvetaeva and granddaughter of Anastasia Tsvetaeva. Olga Andreevna constantly provides Tsvetaeva's museums with all-round assistance, donating archival materials - documents, letters, memories and photographs of relatives.  First deputy minister of culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Elvira Kamalova, presented the award to the keeper of the family heritage.

Prestigious award was awarded to the actress of the Kazan Academic Russian Grand Dramatic Theater named after V. I. Kachalov, People's Artist of Russia and Tatarstan Svetlana Romanova for her solo performance on the poems of Marina Tsvetaeva "The Last Day". This statement is the result of many years of work by the actress to study the life and works  by  Marina Tsvetaeva, an example of the harmonious union of great poetry with theatrical art. Today the play "The Last Day" was played for participants and guests of the ceremony, as well as students of the Elabuga branch of the KFU.

We remind  that in the year of the 125th anniversary of the birth of Marina Tsvetaeva, Elabuga became the center of a large number of events dedicated to the great Russian poetess. In connection with the anniversary of the poet, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve decided to establish an extraordinary VIII Literary Award  named after. M.I. Tsvetaeva and hand it in Yelabuga at  presence of laureates of the award  in different years.
