The Tinchurin Theater open the season with the premiere of the play "The Last Play"

4 September 2017, Monday

The Tatar State Drama and Comedy Theater named after K. Tinchurin will open a new theatrical season on September 15, the day of the 130th anniversary of the birth of one of the founders of the Tatar theater - the great playwright, actor and director Karim Tinchurin. This evening the premiere of the play "The Last Play" will take place on the stage of the theater.

The author of the dramatization  on the autobiographical novel "Thirty-three days" - the last work by   Karim Tinchurin was made by Ilgam Ghali. The play is dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the playwright, the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution in Russia, the 100th anniversary of the liberation of Kazan from the occupation by the Czech Legion. The director of the performance is Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Rashid Zagidullin. Artist - Honored Artist of Russia, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, People's Artist of the RT Sergei Skomorokhov. In the production, the whole troupe of the theater is involved.

The story "Thirty-Three Days", included in the collection of short stories "Coral Beads", quite legitimately stands in line with the works by classics of Soviet literature, such as "The Life of Klim Samgin" by M. Gorky, "Walking by the Flours" by A. Tolstoy, "Beg (Running)" A. Bulgakov and others. With historical accuracy, the author describes the era of revolutionary hard times. Many of the characters of the novella have their prototypes, who actually took part in those events when in the era of tragic revolutionary transformations the human destinies and the life of a huge country were grinded.

As the well-known Tatar playwright Riza Ishmurat wrote in the preface to the book "Coral Beads" by K. Tinchurin, the ninth novel, titled "Thirty-Three Days," deserves a special attention.

"This work shows the period of the civil war, when, in 1918, after the capture of Kazan by the whites, the counter-revolutionary forces that joined them protested against the Soviet power of the workers. Through these extraordinary historical events, the deep emotional experiences of the Tatar intellectual, journalist and young writer Suleiman are transmitted, which is perplexed at the crossroads, not knowing to whom to join, "wrote Riza Ishmurat.

In all "Coral Beads" there is one common hero. This is the image of Suleiman. The prototype for this image is Karim Tinchurin himself. It should be noted that in this case, too, the author stepped aside from the documentary vital truth. This is done in order to give more scope for reflection and fantasy, therefore all historical events and images are reflected with great artistic certainty.

"Coral Beads" is an unfinished work by  Karim Tinchurin. Unfortunately, it was not written down, and the finished stories during the author's lifetime were not published. We hope that this work, presented to the viewers, will be useful and interesting in that it reflects little-known pages from the life and history of the Republic, "wrote Riza Ishmurat.
