The Second International Festival of Contemporary Music "Asia-Europe" in Vietnam

 October 12,  in Hanoi (Vietnam) at the Opera theatre, a   Symphony concert opened the Second International Festival of Contemporary Music "Asia-Europe".

The history of this festival started in 1993 in Kazan. Over the years the festival has been recognized in Russia and abroad, the participants became musicians and composers from 45 countries of the world. Since 2014, with the support of the Government, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and  personally  President of the Vietnam Festival  is  held in  Vietnam.

The festival "Asia-Europe" will last until October 18. Total,  seven concerts: 2 - symphonic music and 5 - chamber music will be held.

New music festival "Asia-Europe" in Vietnam is extremely important for the development of modern professional music not only for Russia and Vietnam, but also for the global musical space. The festival "Asia-Europe" gives composers throughout the world the opportunity to show their art, to implement new creative ideas, share experiences, learn about the unique culture and art of Vietnam, the press service of the  RT  Union of Composers informs.
