Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Egypt

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan A. M. Sibagatullin   met with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt in the Russian Federation, Mr. Mohamed El-Badri Abdelsattar.

The meeting was attended by Advisor to the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the Russian Federation, Director, Office of Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Moscow Atef Mugtamid, director of the Center of Arab culture "Al-Khadr" Mohammed Saleh Al-Amari, director of the Institute of International Relations, History and Oriental Studies of the Kazan Federal (Volga) University Ramil Khairutdinov and others.

During the meeting they discussed   the issues of organizing and conducting the exchange of cultural activities between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Arab Republic of Egypt, the issues of cooperation in the field of museology, cooperation in the field of theater, cinema and music, the exchange of experience in conservation of cultural heritage in the field of science.

The meeting was held within the framework of the visit the Ambassador to the festival "Days of Egyptian Culture 2015" in Kazan, which  is  held   by  the Institute of International Relations, History and Oriental Studies of the Kazan Federal (Volga) University.

During the visit, the Ambassador also met with the leadership of KFU and his lecture was delivered   on the relationship between Egypt and Russia.
