Happy birthday, museum!

April 5,   the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan will celebrate its   birthday.

123 years ago at  the building of the Gostiny Dvor the Kazan City Scientific and Industrial Museum was opened. Since that time the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan has been counting its history, the funds of which store unique historical monuments, works of art, objects of culture and life of the peoples of the Volga region and other countries of the world.

On this day, the guests of the holiday are waiting for thematic excursions, master classes, the fair of folk art crafts, as well as a music program from the Chamber Orchestra "Renaissance" and the Kazan State Conservatory named after N.G. Zhiganov.

At 14:00, the ceremonial closing of the traditional charity event "The Days of Gifts" will take place. The most outstanding gifts will be marked in the nominations "The most ancient", "Legend", "Rarity", "Subject-memorial" and will be presented at the exhibition "Parade of exhibits".

Later, a tea party will be held with a festive cake, and the music program "Let’s sing, friends!" will end celebration.

The entrance to the museum's birthday will be free.

10.00 - master classes "Creative workshop"

11.00 - fair of masters of folk art crafts

12.00 - music program from the chamber orchestra "Renaissance"

13.00 - concert from the Kazan State Conservatoire named after. N.G. Zhiganov - "Happy birthday, my favorite museum!"

14.00 - solemn closing of the action "Days of Gifts". Parade of exhibits.

15.00 - national treats for the guests of the museum, traditional tea-party with a festive cake.

15.30 - music program "Let’s sing, friends!"

During the day, the children's interactive playground "Tatarstan is our common home" and a photo salon will work.
