Public Council discussed the idea of creating a volunteer movement in the sphere of culture in Tatarstan

The meeting of the Public Council chaired by Marcel Taishev was held at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The members of the Council were acquainted with the plan of measures for  development of the volunteer movement in the Russian Federation, approved by e Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Vitaly Mutko. According to the plan, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, Rosmolodezh and other interested executive bodies will work to compile best practices and develop methodological materials on  development of volunteerism in the sphere of culture.

In Tatarstan, the creation of a volunteer center under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan has matured for a long time. This was stated in  speeches by  director of the Republican Center for the Development of Traditional Culture Fanzil Zavgarov and  director of the State Budgetary Institution of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan "Tatarkino" Milyausha  Ajtuganova.

The assistance of volunteers in  organization and holding of various cultural events is invaluable, especially when large-scale festivals are held in the republic with  participation of top officials and foreign guests. A vivid example of this interaction is the work of volunteers at the Kazan International Muslim Film Festival. Students of the Faculty of Cinematography and Television of the Kazan State Institute of Culture, Kazan Theatrical School and the Russian Islamic University provide assistance in the territory of residence and stay of participants and guests of the festival, assist in  organization of the Kazan International Festival of Amateur Youth and Children's Cinema and the " The Time of Cinema" forum.

Students of the Institute of International Relations, History and Oriental Studies of the KFU were attracted by the employees of the Republican Center for  Development of Traditional Culture during the Caravon Republican Festival of Russian Culture, which was held in the village of Russkoye Nikolskoye,  the Laishevsky District on May 21.

Working as volunteers is a practice for senior students and a way to integrate into a future workflow.

In order to promote  development of volunteerism (volunteerism), the Public Council recommended the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan to create a Center for Volunteering in the field of culture.
