August 18-20 in Chistopol Festival of the author's song "Literary Chistopol" to be held

The organizers of the festival are the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Chistopol State Historical, Architectural and Literary Museum-Reserve, the Chistopol Municipal District.

The festival "Literary Chistopol" was first held in 2016. This year, more than 100 authors, performers, fans of bard songs and poets from 22 cities of Russia applied for participation in it.

Within the framework of the festival, participants will take part in  nominations "Author", "Performer", "Duet", "Ensemble", "Literary Chistopol", "Poetry". The well-known authors, performers, writers of Tatarstan and Russia - Dmitry Bikchentaev, Yulia Ziganshina, Vladimir Goltsman, Yulia Tuzova, Ilya Olenev, Anatoly Shenberg and others will be members of the jury and honorary guests of the festival "Literary Chistopol".

The peculiarity of the festival is the fact that the compulsory condition for participation in the competition program is  performance of songs on poems of poets whose fates were connected with Chistopol: Boris Pasternak, Mikhail Isakovsky, Viktor Bokov, Marina Tsvetaeva, Anna Akhmatova, Lev Oshanin and others. This approach allows us to expand the boundaries of the popularization of the works by well-known figures of literature and open up talents for new authors and performers to the public.

The final chord and main event of the festival will be a ceremony of awarding the winners and a gala concert with the participation of members of the jury and honorary guests, which will be held on August 19, 2017 at  the Cultural Center "Chistai" at Chistopol, str. Lenina, 17a.

The beginning of the concert at 19.00 o'clock, the entrance is free.
