The cultural program of the 6th Congress of the World Congress of Tatars

The 6th Congress of the World Congress of Tatars will be held in Kazan on August 2-6, 2017.

On the first day of the big forum (August 2), discussion areas will open in Kazan:

Tatar spirit: language and heritage (Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, Bauman St., 20);

Family, demography, national education (NCC "Kazan", Pushkin St., 86);

Tatar entrepreneurship and sponsorship (Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Pushkin Str., 66/33);

Round table "Creation of the Museum of the Tatar emigration and the Portrait Gallery of the Tatar people" (NCC "Kazan", the museum of the 1000th anniversary of Kazan).

In the evening, the historical and choreographic performance "The Kazan Treasure" will be presented to the guests and delegates of the VI Congress of the World Congress in the production of the dance ensemble "Kazan".

The program on August 3 included two exhibitions:

International exhibition of works by contemporary artists, designers and stylists working in the themes of modern Tatar national costume (foyer of the M. Jalil Opera and Ballet Theater);

Exhibition of products of artisans and masters of folk art crafts of the Republic of Tatarstan (Korston).

August 4, at the Opera and Ballet Theater. M. Jalil will be a concert of masters of the Tatar people's arts.

On August 5, delegates and guests of the 6th Congress of the World Congress of Tatars will visit the city of Bolgar and take part in the International Festival of Tatar Folklore "Tugyaryak uyen", which will be held at the Kazan Kremlin.
