20 hours of master classes, 5 platforms, 3 directions, 9 hours of discussions, 5 hours of pitching, more than 1000 visitors

Kazan was a launching pad of the All-Russian pitching of debutants. Pitching of  debutants, which is  regularly held by  co-organizers of the forum "Time of Cinema" - Youth Center of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, has recently received a status of the All-Russian, and it was Kazan that became its official launching pad.

At  the capital  the results of pitching of film projects and the Open Republican competition of screenplays have been summed up .

"The Kazan Forum"Time of Cinema "once again demonstrated not only a high level of organization, but also determined the vector of development of regional cinema. For  the next five years, regional cinema leaders will reach the federal level and this will benefit  entire industry. And I consider this forum is  the beginning of pitching history in Kazan, "said  Dmitry  Yakunin, executive director of the Youth Center of the Union of Cinematographers.

"An industrial platform for supporting regional and low-budget cinema was held in Kazan, for the first time with such a scope, goals and objectives. It  has described  what  and how cinema lives in regions,  designated  indifferent participants. Support was given to participants from Barnaul, Kazan, Ufa. The investments exceeded the expenses for  organization itself, the work was conducted in three directions and in all there is a positive result - 20 hours of master classes, 5 platforms, 3 directions, 9 hours of discussions, 5 hours of pitching, more than 1000 visitors, stressed chief of the forum “Time of Cinema»   Albina Nafigova.

The forum received applications from various regions of Russia. The  forum brought together young filmmakers from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and other cities of Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Altai, Irkutsk, Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions, Karelia, Udmurtia, Chuvashia, and Chechnya.

The results of the forum " Time of Cinema" were summed up at  the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan  where public protection of projects took place, as well as solemn awards of the winners of the scenario competition and pitching of film projects.

In total, 43 applications were submitted to the Open Republican contest of screenplays (5 applications for the nomination "Best Screenplay of a full-length feature film", 38 applications for the "Best Screenplay of a Short Film" nomination), of which 10 scenarios were not admitted due to non-compliance with the terms of participation in the Competition.

The winners and owners of the monetary award from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan were   the following:

Daria Panteleyeva, screenplay "Advantages of a big city", 70 000 rubles;

In  nomination "The best screenplay of a short feature film" Lev Kozhevnikov, screenplay "How did Babai  catched fish", 30 000 rubles.

Certificates for cash prizes were given to winners by RT Deputy Minister of Culture Guzel Sharipova.

Elena Ryabtseva from Chuvashia with the project "Yuman" became the winner of pitching of film projects in Kazan. The request for project support for 200,000 rubles was satisfied with the film company "Russian Film Group", and the participant received technical support from the company "Canon".

Other projects that participated in public protection, divided the following nominations:

- "For the best dramatic scenario" - Albina Gumerova, the project "Shut up". The participant received a post-production project worth 300,000 rubles from the film "Russian Film Group" and a script-doctoring from the script-production laboratory Dramakit.pro;

- "For Genre Sequence" - Farzana Utarbayeva, project "She-bear or the right person". The project received post production from the Producer Center "Youth Initiatives" and the Youth Center of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation;

- "For a bold approach to a non-standard topic" - Tatyana Kuznetsova, the project "My Favorite Collector". The participant became the owner of the certificate for lighting equipment for 1 film shift  from sinema platform "KINOLIFE.ME";

- "For  social significance of the project" - Dmitry Shararin, project "Beautiful far." Dmitry was awarded technical support from the Sverdlovsk Film Studio;

- "For  popularization of family values" - Danil Fei, the project "Home";

- "For humanism and  actuality of the topic" - Damir Minibayev, project "Snow Hunter";

- "For creative search" - Ilgam Nizametdinov, project "Milk wizard";

- "For  creation of the national cinema" - Ilfat Kamal project "Korych 2";

- "For  ambitious project" - Olga Twilight, the project "Black Reef".

The expert commission of  pitching film projects included  founder and filmmaker of "Russian film artist" A.Petrukhin, dean of the faculty of screen arts  SpbGIKiT  V. Budilov, CEO of the Sverdlovsk Film Studio M.Churbanov, executive director of the Youth Center of the Russian Cinematographers Union D. Yakunin, Co Youth Board Russian Union of Cinematographers center F. Abryutin, CEO of scenario-producing agency «Metadrama» N.Voroshilova, editor of the film company "Sputnik",  critic, a member of the International Guild of Writers, the Union of Journalists of Russia and the Youth Council of the STD of the Russian Federation E. Dementzova,  manager of the business development of the professional video Canon E. Subochev,  chairman of the Union of Cinematographers of the Republic of Tatarstan I. Yagafarov,  director of the GBTK RT "Tatarkino" V.Batrakov,  producer, M. Aituganova, head of the department of film and television directing at the Kazan State Institute of Culture.

Also, within the framework of the "Time of Cinema" forum, an educational program was held in the sections "Pitching of Film Projects", "Scenario Workshop" and "Film Journalism".
