The V.I. Lenin House-Museum will open a mini-exhibition "The heroine of my novel"

March 5, 2016, at 14.00, the V.I.Lenin museum opens a mini-exhibition "The heroine of my novel." The exhibition is organized within the framework of the museum project "The big story in little things."

The exhibition presents books of different editions of Russian and foreign classical literature, the protagonists of which will  appear in  images of porcelain dolls from the second part of the original collection of souvenir dolls by  De Agostini. These are: Sofia (A.S. Griboyedov "Woe from Wit"), Asya (I.S. Turgenev), Vera Shein (A.l. Kuprin "Garnet Bracelet"), Princess Mary (M.Y. Lermontov " Hero of our time "), Tatyana Larina (A.S. Pushkin's" Eugene Onegin "), Esmeralda (Victor Hugo's" Notre Dame de Paris "), Constance Bonacieux (A. Dumas' The Three Musketeers") and others.

The exhibition is a continuation of the previously held at the Museum of the mini-exhibition "Defile of  dolls in folk costumes",  by collector  Nizamutdinova   Elvira Shamilevna, head of S. Saydashev’s museum, a collector of the second generation.

Visitors to the exhibition "The heroine of my novel" will be able  not just plunge into the world of familiar from  childhood friends, favorite works of art, but also to see how the image of the main character in their presentation of the exhibition corresponds to the exhibition  figure.

The exhibition will be a unique gift to the ladies, the visitors of the museum, to the International Women's Day on  March 8.

The exhibition runs from  March 5  to April 19  daily except Mondays, from 10.00 to 17.00.
